Diving at the Blue Heron Bridge is highly dependent on tides and boat charters typically leave on time, so it's very importatnt to plan ahead and stay on schedule. Each West Palm Beach trip is planned for the specific tide predictions and boat schedules in effect for that particular weekend.

Arrive and check-in at Seaspray Inn

Saturday, 11 Oct 2014

09:00 - Check in at Pura Vida Divers, pick up tanks
09:25 - Depart Pura Vida Divers for Blue Heron Bridge
09:30 - Arrive at Blue Heron Bridge
09:40 - Blue Heron Bridge Orientation
10:00 - Set up scuba units, don wet suits
10:15 - Enter water for OW dives 1 and 2 (high tide at 11:00am)
11:30 - Exit water
11:35 - Pack gear, depart for Pura Vida Divers
11:45 - Arrive at Pura Vida divers, return tanks
12:00 - Debrief dive
12:30 - Release for lunch
Remainder of day free for beach, surfing, golf, etc.

10:00 - Check in at Pura Vida Divers, pick up tanks
10:20 - Depart Pura Vida Divers for Blue Heron Bridge
10:30 - Arrive at Blue Heron Bridge
10:45 - Set up scuba units, don wet suits
11:00 - Enter water for OW dive 3 (high tide at 11:48am)
12:00 - Exit water
12:05 - Pack gear for afternoon charter
12:15 - Picnic lunch at Blue Heron Bridge
12:45 - Depart Blue Heron Bridge for Lake Park Marina
13:00 - Arrive at Lake Park Marina, check in at boat
13:30 - Boat departs for OW dive 4 and experience dive 1
17:30 - Boat arrives back at Lake Park Marina
17:40 - Depart boat, pack cars, depart for hotel
18:00 - Debrief dives, fill out log books, process certifications
Remainder of day free for dinner, etc.

Monday, 13 Oct 2014

09:30 - Arrive at Lake Park Marina, check in at boat
10:00 - Boat departs for experience dives 2 and 3
14:00 - Boat arrives back at Lake Park Marina
14:10 - Depart boat, pack cars, depart for Pura Vida Divers
14:30 - Arrive at Pura Vida Divers
14:40 - Debrief trip, fill out log books
15:30 - End of trip
IMPORTANT: you may begin driving home immediately. If flying, you must wait 18 hours from last dive -- your earliest aircraft take-off time would be ~09:30 on Tuesday
